What To Do The Night Before your Queenstown Photoshoot // The Prep Work

Get Those Z's!

I know makeup can do wonders, but bloodshot eyes and dark circles can be hard to get away with in front of the camera. Personally, I recommend my clients get a good 8 hours for the 3 days leading up to the photoshoot, that way you'll be chipper and ready to role come photo time. (And stay away from the alcohol the night before!)

Drink All the water!!!

Drink plenty of water and avoid salty foods and alcohol as well so you aren't puffy or bloated on the day of the shoot. gosh, so many rules.. but the makeup artist will love you!!

Have a mini fashion show

I can't tell you how many times I've had clients come to a shoot with outfits they haven't even looked at in 2 years... unflattering, unfinished and the end result is usually having to give them something of mine to wear and HOPE it fits (I'm elf sized). If you are doing a couple or family shoot, try on your wardrobe together, make sure everything is cohesive, but please not matchy matchy! ALSO- for the love of god, please have either fully done nails or no nail polish at all <3 (If you want ideas of what to wear or have questions, just ask!!)

This one ties into wardrobe. You've got to love that Queenstown weather, it can be all 4 seasons in one day. Check the weather and make sure that sunhat you plan on wearing shouldn't actually be a parka.
